Madison Public Schools has earned a spot in the top 5% of school districts nationally according to the 2021 Niche.com rankings. The rankings, which evaluate districts on a variety of factors, survey responses, and state data, awarded MPS with an overall grade of "A." In a second ranking system published this week, greatschools.org, Madison High School was recognized with the College Success Award, which recognizes public high schools that are excelling at preparing students for college and beyond. The award is based on school-level college preparation and postsecondary data that indicates the school's success. MHS received a 7/10 overall rating on the greatschools.com rating system.
