Registration for the 2024 - 2025 Winter Athletic season will be opened Monday, October 7th. Any student interested in playing a winter sport must register, including those that played in the fall. Please utilize this link to create a family registration account with rSchool Activity Registration. Student ID numbers are needed to register and can be found on the summary page of your child’s Genesis account.
Physical examinations that athletes used for the fall season are not necessarily valid for the winter season and may need to be updated. The date of your athlete’s physical must be within 365 days of the start of the first practice for the sport. For a point of reference:
Bowling, Ice Hockey, Swimming, Basketball, & Wrestling - Valid physicals should have a date of 11/25/23 or later
Winter Track - Valid physicals should have a date of 12/2/23 or later
The History Form, Physical Examination Form, and Medical Eligibility Form should be completed by the healthcare provider who completes the PPE. The completed Medical Eligibility Form is required to be submitted by the school at the time of registration. The Medical Eligibility Form provides space for the healthcare provider to share relevant health information with the school if necessary and includes a recommendation regarding the student’s ability to participate in athletics. It is important to note that the PPE must be conducted by a licensed physician, advanced practice nurse, or physician assistant who has completed the student athlete cardiac assessment professional development module developed by the NJDOE. The Health History Update Questionnaire is required to be completed by the parent/guardian as part of the registration process.
All paperwork must be electronically scanned and uploaded into your account. Cell phone pictures will not be accepted. As a safeguard, we recommend submitting all original physical paperwork to Nurse Fastiggi. The deadline to register and ensure that students are cleared by our school physician is Monday, November 4th.
